Floyd Training and Service Center (FTC) receives its funding from three sources: Grant-in-Aid; and either the Comp or Now Medicaid Waiver. The funding source is determined at the time of admission and recorded in the individual’s Individual Support Plan (ISP).
Floyd Training and Service Center offers services to adult residents of Floyd County who have a diagnosis of Developmental Disabilities or surrounding counties with approval from the Department of Community Health (DCH) and Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD).
Application for admission may be made to the Center by a potential individual, family member, or advocate. FTC staff will gather information on the applicant and refer the applicant to the Region I’s Intake and Evaluation Team who determines eligibility for admission and funding.
FTC provides Community Access Group (CAG), Pre-vocational training (PV), Supported Employment Group (SEG), Supported Employment Individual (SEI), Community Access Individual (CAI) services, and family support which are billed monthly to the above mentioned funding sources.
