Floyd Training Center provides pre-vocational (Pre-Voc) supports to people with developmental disabilities. Pre-Voc is provided in a group setting and allows individuals to develop and maintain various job skills while earning income. The purpose of this service is to help apply and learn new job skills to be prepared for employment within the community.
Prevocational Services (Pre-Voc) is provided with a 1:10 staff ratio at FTC. Individuals in this service may work on a variety of skills which include making a resume, mock interviews, working at FTC and earning a paycheck, searching for jobs, etc. This service is provided to those interested in employment in the community and provides training and support on gaining employment.
